Ben Kempel – Bass/Vocals

 

Ben has been performing since age 17.  A die-hard fan of the stage, Ben has trouble saying “no” and never seems to be sure of how many bands he’s playing in at a given time.  Confused as usual, Ben mistook Steerage as a free trip to Ireland and ended up playing bass for the band.  We suspect that he still doesn’t know he’s playing in a band and not going to Ireland.  Ben spends most of his free time playing guitar, usually only breaking to play a different instrument. This commitment has led to his disregard for some of the things most of us take for granted, like grooming.  When you see Steerage you’ll understand how much Ben loves to play music and perform.
